13 out of 14 of Michigan Republican Congressional District Chairs are backing Donald Trump in a recent letter calling for Michigan Republicans to rally behind the party's Presidential nominee.
The letter is also signed by Michigan Republican Party Chair Ronna Romney Mcdaniel and Co-Chair Jeff Sakwa, as well as RNC Nattional Committee members Kathy Berden and Rob Steele.
13th Congressional District Chair David Dudenhoefer did not sign, but is backing Trump.
In his own letter to Republicans, Dudenhoefer says it's time to elect Trump and other GOP hopefuls, then work just as hard to hold them accountable after November.
"Many of you joined with a record number of new Republican primary voters in choosing Donald Trump as our party's nominee. No matter what your stance, we are faced with the prospect of a Hillary Clinton presidency, which we can all agree is unacceptable," Dudenhoefer said.
" The officers and members of our party are committed to promoting and assisting with the election of candidates, under our banner, who will advance liberty, and our party’s ideals contained within our platform," he continued. "What we ask from each of you as supporters of the Republican Party is to join with us to support our ticket in November, and once elected to help support their oath to persevere, protect, and defend our United States Constitution and Bill of Rights."
