The Dearborn Imam supporting Donald Trump blames President Obama and Hillary Clinton for founding ISIS in a recent Facebook interview.

Sheikh Mohammed al-Haj Hassan also revealed his brother has been kidnapped by the Islamic State...

" I am the brother of a kidnapped soldier by ISIL and I will cooperate with any person nationally or internationally willing to eliminate the Islamists Terrorists," Hassan said. "That title by itself is enough reasons for me to support Mr. Trump and not his opponent. Another reason is the declaration of Secretary General of Hezbollah announcing that President Obama and Hillary Clinton were behind the creation of ISIL so how do you expect me to support her? Therefore my choice is the right choice."

He also brushed off allegations Trump hates Muslims, calling it "nonsense."

Hassan's brother was kidnapped by ISIS 18 months ago in Lebanon...

Hassan, left, with Ahmad for the interview
>>>According to a partial transcript of Hassan's interview with Afaf H Ahmad, ("known as Divaa, a well known Arabic professional journalist and radio host in Michigan")

"We are transmitting out of Dearborn MI, We will speak today on the subject of the Presidential election and as promised we will interview a person from a secret undisclosed location because that person received serious death threats and insults therefore to protect him we will conduct this interview without revealing its location.

The interview with Shia Cleric “Mohammad Haj Hassan” he is the leader of the Free Shia Movement. The interview is regarding his participation in a rally held in Novi, MI for the Republican Candidate for President Mr. Donald Trump and the backlash on the Arabic & Muslim community in the USA and specifically in MI. I would like to note that communities from the Middle East from all countries and sects were represented at the rally and none; absolutely no one received any complaint except one person who’s dressed as a cleric from the Shia sect.

Honorable Cleric you have chosen to accept this interview via video because of threats and security reasons. Some already accused you that you’re not a resident of Dearborn to speak on behalf of Dearborn even though I know that you have been here over a year and you participated in many community events.

As a cleric why were you in Novi, MI at a Trump rally and supporting Mr. Trump?

"First I would like to say that my participation along members of the community at a Trump rally is as normal as other members of the community have participated at the rallies of Mrs. Clinton. If the premise of their complaint is that Mr. Trump is a racist what they’re doing threatening me and others and complaining about my participation is as racist as racism could be."

Why you were there and why are you supporting Trump?

"First I am the brother of a kidnapped soldier by ISIL and I will cooperate with any person nationally or internationally willing to eliminate the Islamists Terrorists. That title by itself is enough reasons for me to support Mr. Trump and not his opponent. Another reason is the declaration of Secretary General of Hezbollah announcing that President Obama and Hillary Clinton were behind the creation of ISIL so how do you expect me to support her? Therefore my choice is the right choice. I received a VIP invitation and spoke face to face to Mr. Trump who said he does not hate Arabs or Muslims his problem is with haters, radicals, Islamists and not the Arab people or the Muslim people. His statement was loud and clear. I would like to ask those who threatened and insulted me how can you accuse Mr. Trump of racism when you cannot tolerate each other in one community between Shia Muslim and Sunni Muslim?

I have never claimed to represent the community or a religion those who believe in my position I am happy and willing to represent them even the Holy Koran mentioned that you cannot force religion on others."

Was your support based on personal benefits only?

"No my support started from my personal experience but we stand with the person who is going to revive a slowing economy and starts national reform and rebuild the nation add to that we have a savage animal that is radical Islam who is destroying Arab and Muslim countries killing its people before arriving here and doing the same to these civilization. We need reform ourselves also from within because these savages are doing their atrocities in the name of Islam.

To those people who threatened and insulted me my Facebook account is the hand of the authorities each and every one of you who threatened me, the authorities will deal with you. One case in particular where that person threatened me openly we’re already taking legal action."

Since you don’t represent the Shia community what is the FREE SHIA MOVEMENT?

"The members of this movement are those who do not believe in the actions of Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria and do not believe in the political stance of the Amal Movement.

You participation at the Trump rally was it to represent yourself alone or others as well?

"I did not say that I represent the Shia Religion I represent those people who believe in our position as a free movement."

Muslims are saying that Trumps hates Muslims and he’s a racist?

"That is why the campaign published pictures of Mr. Trump hugging me-stop the nonsense-we have each other-stop blaming others for hating us."

How can we bridge these differences among our community?

"It is up to the elders, educated, prominent members of this community to act."

They are asleep they care less.

"Well then when Justice knocks on their doors they will be crawling around seeking cover."

Who do you think is going to win?

"Whoever wins this election we will continue to work according to our convictions and we will keep working the Trump camp because they are representative of our convictions."
