House Speaker Tom Leonard received rave reviews Friday night for his speech in the caucuses as he rallied delegates to call their legislators this week and fight back against the Lansing lobbyists of both parties who want to prevent the income tax cut and Common Core repeal from passing...

The income tax cut was introduced by State Rep. Lee Chatfield, and the Common Core repeal was introduced by State Rep. Gary Glenn.

A Speaker who talks directly to the grassroots and calls out lobbyists in both parties trying to stop conservative legislation from moving forward?! It's definitely a new era in the Michigan House!

Many delegates were excited about the prospects of his potential Attorney General run, he could definitely be a player for Governor if he wanted to.

Conventional wisdom in Lansing says Leonard, a former Assistant AG, will run for Attorney General. However, Tim Skubick recently noted on "Off The Record" that Leonard has yet to rule out a run for Governor...
