Former Michigan Republican Party Chair Ron Weiser touted his role as Vice-Chair of the RNC's Trump Victory Fund in a recent email.
The position, announced in late May, will see Weiser raise money on behalf of GOP Presidential nominee Donald Trump, as well as other Republicans nationwide.
Weiser believes grassroots activists will step up to the plate for Trump and GOP candidates in November.
"I have accepted the position of Vice-Chairman of the Republican National Committee's Victory effort," Weiser said. "As I am sure you know, Trump Victory is a joint committee that raises money for the Trump Campaign, our Republican House and Senate races and the National and State Parties. I know that activists such as yourself, when given the proper resources, will knock the doors, make the calls and help all of our Republican candidates succeed."
Weiser made it official earlier this week in his run for a spot on the University of Michigan's Board Of Regents, submitting signatures of all 14 Congressional District Chairs to the MIGOP State Committee...
