Multiple sources tell West Michigan Politics that Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby Schostak will announce plans to seek a third term this weekend, possibly as early as tomorrow night.
Schostak will be in Grand Rapids for a reception at Amway Grand Plaza Friday night, and State party business Saturday morning.

Schostak, who has been Chair for two terms, is well positioned to win another term, but one can never be too certain. He was almost defeated by Tea Party favorite and now State Rep. Elect Todd Courser in 2013.
Many candidates are rumored to be considering mounting a challenge, but none have announced one officially. Stay tuned.
