MSU Professor Dr. Joseph Guzman will advise Donald Trump on issues important to the Hispanic community.

Guzman is a member of the new "National Hispanic Advisory Council for Trump."

Guzman is excited about the opportunity.

"It is an honor to be a part of Mr. Trump's National Hispanic Advisory Committee," Guzman tells WMP. "Although I do not speak for the campaign, I can tell you that we enjoyed an open, earnest and constructive discussion this afternoon. I am energized and more convinced than ever that Donald Trump is the leader to move our nation and all our communities in the right direction."

Guzman narrowly lost his race for MIGOP Administrative Vice-Chair last year, and is definitely someone to keep an eye on until November, and for future campaigns...

 According to CBS News:

"Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his campaign team met with Hispanic faith, civic and business leaders Saturday in New York, the first announced convening of the National Hispanic Advisory Council for Trump.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) also joined in the meeting at Trump Tower, which included nearly two dozen members of the Hispanic community from 12 states and which discussed strategies on outreach to Latino voters."

Stay tuned!
