Rage Against The Queen: The Day Lansing Stood Still, And The Battle For Michigan Began

Via The Lansing State Journal

On April 15, 2020, no city in America had worse traffic than Lansing, Michigan.

Hundreds swarmed the Capitol lawn, and thousands flooded downtown. The convoy stretched out to the highways.

It felt unreal.

As I walked around Michigan and Cedar-normally an intersection swarming with activity before Coronavirus-it felt more like a takeover than gridlock. I could have had a picnic in the middle of the road.

Since then,  the Lansing protests have inspired dozens of states across the country in a historic movement that is only growing stronger.

Michiganders traveled to Lansing from every corner of our beautiful state.

They came from Antrim to Ann Arbor, the Keweenaw to Kentwood. They came from Okemos and Ontonagon. Monroe, Mount Pleasant, and Muskegon. Grand Haven and Grand Traverse...

Everywhere.

They weren't Klansman or Nazis like Gretchen Whitmer and her paid propagandists and puppets are trying to dupe people into believing.

They were Moms and Dads, sons and daughters, friends and neighbors. Families. People like your Grandparents, or the guy or gal who owns that bar, restaurant, or business you love that may never be able to open again.

High school seniors robbed of commencement, spring activities, and much more.

Michiganders who have been told the job they take pride in to provide for their families is "not essential."

Single Moms on the brink of crying because they just want to work and are not getting the help they need.

Of course, too many in the fake news, corporate media are gleeful to promulgate Whitmer's phony racist narrative, but that is no surprise. (Thankfully, their have been some bright spots with pretty fair coverage.)

Governor Whitmer today hinted she may not lift restrictions until August. She also spewed outright lies about Sparrow Hospital being impacted by the protests.
It's not her first time shamelessly lying during this panic. Remember the phony story about President Trump trying to cut off medical supplies from Michigan?

Gretchen Whitmer should resign before Michigan's small business infrastructure completely collapses, families face record bankruptcy, and municipalities across the state erupt with civil disturbances.

Some memes feature Whitmer and say "still your Governor."

Of course, she was elected by a wide margin. She's my Governor, but she's not my Queen. I will not be her subject.

Pray for Michigan, it looks like some very trying times may be imminently awaiting.

There is no reason why those who want to remain on house arrest can't continue to do so, and the rest of us will get back to opening up Michigan.

"I prefer dangerous freedom to peaceful slavery."

-Thomas Jefferson

Action ALERT: Shut Whitmer DOWN: Thousands Prepare To Flood Lansing Wednesday For Michigan Conservative Coalition's #OperationGridlock

By Brandon Hall
(Email Him At WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

If you can be in Lansing Wednesday at noon, you NEED to be there.

Gas is cheap, but even if you have to use the last money in your bank account, use it.

If you have to borrow $10 or $20 from a friend, DO IT. Sorry, Dave Ramsey ;)

If you are going, invite friends and reach out to people in your area, or reasonably on the way to Lansing!

Sorry Progress Michigan (moronic, radical, fake news leftist group), no DeVos checks here. This is all grassroots, from Michiganders who have had enough.

Get up, get out of bed, and get the hell to Lansing!

Governor Whitmer's horrendous overreach WILL NOT stand.

That's why 17,000! Michiganders have expressed interest in Wednesday's protest. If just 15% show up, that would be nearly 3,000 cars creating miles long traffic jams and all sorts of hell in downtown Lansing. What if 5 or 10 thousand show up?!

Wednesday, let's send Gretchen Whitmer and her enablers in the legislature a message they will NEVER, ever forget!

Big league kudos to the Michigan Conservative Coalition and State Rep. Matt Maddock for stepping up and organizing this!

Stay tuned...

SAVAGE: Brandt Siegfried Buys+Copyrights Video Used In Disgusting Fake News Attack, Threatens Trejo+Right Michigan With Lawsuit

Michigan Federation Of College Republicans Chairman Brandt Siegfried

By Brandon Hall
(Email Him At WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

>>>UPDATE: Jason Gillman has removed the article, and Trejo has removed the video. However, he posted a deranged rant derping about the "issue" Monday, vowing to keep this pathetic circus going, among other things. My thoughts are at the end of this article.
_________________________________________________________________

When it comes to fighting back against fake news, Michigan Federation of College Republicans Chair Brandt Siegfried prefers President Trump's way: in court.

After a horrendous hit piece by Shane Trejo in Right Michigan last Sunday accused Siegfried of being a predatory drag queen who supported child molestation simply because of his derpy performance of a Shania Twain song, Siegfried was disgusted-so he got creative.

Siegfried purchased the video in question, and then registered it with the US Copyright office!

On Friday evening, Siegfried notified both Trejo, as well as Right Michigan publisher Jason Gillman, that they were unlawfully using copyrighted material owned by Siegfried without his permission.

Jason Gillman
Siegfried, who is working with his legal adviser, Attorney Scott Hagerstrom, says he will pursue whatever legal action is needed if the video is not removed before noon on Wednesday.

Scott Hagerstrom

Siegfried, who attends Hillsdale and was elected MFCR Chair last week, says his "first and foremost goal is to win Michigan for President Donald Trump’s re-election this upcoming November, as well as to elect John James as one of Michigan’s two senators."

Below are Siegfried's notification emails to Trejo and Gillman:

>>>Thoughts on Trejo's rant:

I am reluctant to link to it, but whatever. Apparently Shane thinks President Trump uses liberal tactics? Going after fake news in court is JUST what President Trump would do...

First of all Shane, I doubt your article was shared "thousands of times," maybe a few hundred retweets and a couple dozen Facebook shares from a radical fringe of ignorant cucks, MAYBE. I looked!

2. Using the law to properly defend one's rights is not "government force."

3. The copyright office is still up and running online, derp.

4. This is not "fair use," it's not footage from the Grassy Knoll, jeez. It's private footage Brandt owns and copyrighted, from a charity event, that has no substantive, reasonable  "fair use." This is not what the fair use statue intended.

5. Do you not understand that one does not even need to copyright something, that's just an additional protection. Simple ownership of the video is enough to tell others they can't use it.

6.  That Twitter video will be gone soon, too.

7. Grow some balls, man up, and name me instead of playing games like a punk. Stop deleting my comments too, weak!

Complaint Filed With Attorney General Nessel Against Governor Whitmer For Repeatedly Violating Her Own Executive Orders

Governor Gretchen Whitmer

By Brandon Hall
(Email Him At WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

This morning, I called the non-emergency dispatch in Ingham County to report a violator of Governor Whitmer's recent Executive Orders: the Governor herself.

Subsequently, I filed an official complaint with Attorney General Dana Nessel, documenting Whitmer's violations in detail.

Governor Whitmer must cease and desist her illegal activity immediately. It's time she stops auditioning for VP, starts putting Michiganders first, follows her own orders, and stays the hell HOME!

You can check out the complaint below:

The Honorable Dana Nessel
525 W Ottawa St
Lansing, MI 48933

Attorney General Nessel,

While the Governor clearly fits the definition of a "critical infrastructure worker," such employees must adhere to strict limitations and guidelines.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Whitmer has clearly and repeatedly violated the very rules she herself instituted, and subsequently, expects Michiganders to follow under draconian threats of fines-and even criminal prosecution.

In violation of Executive Order 2020-42, and its predecessor, Executive Order 2020-21, since March 24, the Governor has frequently held press briefings in the Capitol parlor. Multiple members of her staff, and multiple members of the media attend!

These press conferences clearly violate her own order.

Section 10 (c) requires that people"promote remote work to the fullest extent possible." One cannot credibly say that it is not reasonably possible to brief members of the press remotely.

In violation of Executive Order 2020-42, and its predecessor, Executive Order 2020-21, in an interview with Politico ('The Woman In Michigan' Goes National) published on April 9, the reporter describes in detail meeting with Governor Whitmer in her office!

He is even accompanied by a photographer for at least part of the time.

This is a VP profile piece that CLEARLY could have been done remotely. Thus, Section 10 (c) was undoubtedly violated.

It is also a clear cut violation of Section 5(b), which says that "in-person activities that are not necessary to sustain or protect human life must be suspended until normal operations resume."

Section 5 explicitly applies to critical infrastructure employees like the Governor.

In violation of Executive Order 2020-42, and its predecessor, Executive Order 2020-21, on April 1, 2020, the Governor visited Cobo Hall to personally supervise the launch of an "alternate health care facility."

Her order states that "this order must be construed broadly to prohibit in-person work that is not necessary to sustain or protect life".

Her visit to Cobo was a photo op. She did not perform any function necessary to sustain life, and her presence was not needed for any reason whatsoever, In fact, her visit undoubtedly diverted or delayed life saving work while she was present.

She could have EASILY viewed this remotely.

It would also be interesting to know how she so quickly procured a new political t-shirt for an appearance on Trevor Noah's Comedy Central show a few days ago. It was likely produced and/or delivered in violation of her own orders!

Michiganders elected Mrs Whitmer to be our Governor, she's not the "Wolverine Queen," with one set of laws for her majesty, and another for her lowly subjects.

Mrs. Whitmer must be immediately told to cease and desist her illegal activities, start staying home and working remotely as the demands, or face the consequences of the law she herself has unleashed on our beautiful state, including fining her, or incarceration.

Michigan Conservative Coalition: Defy Orders, Drive To Lansing April 15 For Vehicle Protest Of Whitmer

By Brandon Hall
(Email Him At WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

The Michigan Conservative Coalition is calling on Michiganders to drive to Lansing for a protest at "high noon" on April 15th.

The goal is to flood the Capitol area with vehicles, creating a ruckus while protesting Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

According to the event page:

"People always say: “Conservatives never protest because they are too busy working.”

Well, guess what. You’re not working-- so it’s time to PROTEST.

Everyone, every citizen, every business owner needs to get out of their house, out of their chair and get in their car, or truck, or anything that is legal to drive on taxpayer funded roads. Then drive to Lansing to circle the Michigan Capitol Building at 100 N. Capitol Avenue at noon on April 15.

Come prepared for a traffic jam in Lansing! We WANT gridlock.

High NOON drive around the Capitol- honk horns, paint cars or bring signs. SHOW UP.

Questions? Call or text
248-866-2631"

Stay tuned!

Developing: MIGOP Convention Delayed Until June, State Committee Considering Virtual Option

MIGOP Chair Laura Cox

By Brandon Hall
(Email Him At WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

The Michigan Republican Party's April convention has been delayed until June 13th over concerns regarding Coronavirus.

WMP has learned that MIGOP Chair Laura Cox is hopeful the issues with the virus will have peaked, and in-person voting can go on as planned.

The event is supposed to be held at the Suburban Showcase in Novi.

However, to make sure all options are on the table to properly prepare for the safety of delegates, the State Committee will meet virtually on Thursday to discuss amending the rules to allow the possibility of remote voting.

Read the proposed resolution below.

Two well known delegates and party activists from Southeast Michigan, Ben Hirschmann, and Lisa Ewald, both recently passed away due to Coronavirus.

FAKE NEWS: Disgusting Hit Piece Falsely Claims MFCR Chair Brandt Siegfried Is A Predatory Drag Queen

Michigan Federation Of College Republicans Chair Brandt Siegfried

By Brandon Hall
(Email Him At WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

Few things surprise me these days.

However, reading Shane Trejo's latest article in RightMichigan on Monday, I was stunned and extremely disappointed.

"Article" is a generous term for whatever it is. As I thought about things more, it really started to anger me.

Shane is a friend, a good guy who is not afraid to call people out, and I almost always enjoy his work.

Not this time. No, this article was straight out of a phony CNN "report."

The headline? "Drag Queen Story Hour…Starring the New Leader of the Michigan College Republicans?"

Wow. That doesn't sound good, right? What the hell is going on here?

Turns out, nothing. As our President says, "we call this FAKE NEWS!"

The big reveal turned out to be a hoax, a dud. It was on par with Al Capone's vault, a nothing-burger Robert Mueller would be proud of.

The blockbuster "scandal" turns out to be a derpy video from a high school talent show!

Brandt Siegfried performed a SHANIA TWAIN song with a girls shirt on. No nudity, no little kids, no crotch grabbing, no iffy touching or questionable movements, nothing inappropriate whatsoever.

Even Ed Sullivan would have approved! This easily could have been your son, grandson, or friend on a high school stage.

The title of the video included is an outright lie, "Michigan College Republican Chairman Does Drag Queen Sex Dance."

What? No, he didn't.

Trejo also falsely claims that "Under the leadership of people like Siegfried, conservatives will be arguing for the “right” for transgender drag queens to groom and molest children at libraries in no time."

It's not easy to win a libel case, but that line would help Siegfried, who attends Hillsdale, procure a winning judgment, no doubt about it. This is a sickening, Alinskyesque hit piece that has no bearing in truth, or reality.

I am appalled and disgusted Shane would take a real issue-predatory drag queen culture being pushed on children-and cheapen it with this lame political attack.

The only reason this story was published is because Siegfried's detractors didn't have the votes to beat him last weekend when he became Michigan Federation of College Republicans President. Hell, they didn't even have a candidate to run against him. Weak!

Shane should delete this trash heap, and if he won't, Jason Gillman, the publisher of Right Michigan, should tell him to host it elsewhere.

Predatory drag queen culture that victimizes children is seriously harmful. To compare Brandt's Shania Twain song to those who actually prey on kids only emboldens real predators. It also makes Conservatives look REALLY stupid.

As Greg Maley commented on Facebook, "Why is dancing to Shania Twain bad? It didn’t seem that bad. We should be focusing on helping to re-elect President Trump .I’ve been a conservative my entire life and there’s nothing wrong with having fun here and there."

Fun, like Brandt had. Fun, like Rudy and President Trump in this drag sketch:

Using Shane's logic, Rudy is a predatory drag queen, and President Trump is cheering him on, enabling him! If it sounds like bullshit, that's because it is.
