Donald Trump's Michigan State Director Scott Hagerstrom has announced an expansion of the Republican Presidential nominee's campaign team in the Great Lakes State.

CJ Galdes, previously the statewide field director, now serves as Hagerstrom's second in command as Deputy State Director.

Joining the campaign are longtime Hagerstrom ally Randy Wood as Political Director, Tim Lineberger as Communications Director, Tia Jurkiw as Events Coordinator, Christopher Morris as Field Coordinator, and Kevin Tatulyan as Coalitions Director.

“Michiganders understand that Hillary Clinton represents a third Obama term while the Trump-Pence campaign of tougher law enforcement, stopping illegal immigration and bringing back jobs is resonating strongly across the state," Hagerstrom said in a press release.  "Voters are tired of the same old Washington corruption and back room deals and will vote for change in November,” Hagerstrom added.

Matt Hall was a Trump delegate in Cleveland and also served on the Rules Committee. He says Galdes is "battle tested."

"CJ Galdes played a key role in organizing Mr. Trump's historic March primary victory in Michigan, which saw a record number of voters participate," Hall said. "CJ was thrown into the fire, and performed extraordinarily well. He is battle tested, and I have full confidence in him, and our Trump State Director Scott Hagerstrom, to organize the tremendous energy and enthusiasm in our state for Mr. Trump and implement a ground game to win in November."

Scott Greenlee, President of Greenlee Consulting, a political and corporate consulting firm, praised the move.

"Galdes does a really great job," Greenlee said. "He's a hard worker and a tremendous asset to Trump's Michigan operation. Hagerstrom has a solid team in place that's ready to make Hillary earn our votes in November."

Diane Schindlbeck is a conservative activist who was in Cleveland as a Trump delegate, and is also in the process of opening a West Michigan office for Trump at Fricano Place in Muskegon.

She was excited about the announcement.

"CJ is a true professional ," Schindlbeck said. "I'm a former realtor and completely new to politics, I had no experience whatsoever...CJ has helped me every step of the way. More importantly, he's been a class act the entire time-he's indispensable."
