As if attacking Justin Amash wasn't enough, now Senate Majority Leader Meekhof is targeting Attorney General Bill Schuette with his latest attacks...
Meekhof basically called Schuette illogical and unhelpful.
According to Tim Skubick:
"Republican Attorney General Bill Schuette has hired an outside legal team to do a criminal investigation into the Snyder administration’s handling of the Flint water crisis.
Senate Republican leader Arlan Meekhof wonders if another investigation is really needed and the Schuette decision is premature in that another report from former senator Ken Sikkema has not been released.
“I’m a little concerned about it because the Sikkema report hasn’t been put out yet and I think duplicating efforts is not very helpful.”
When asked if the attorney general is being premature Sen. Meekhof said “I think he has a history of that, yes. He seems to jump ahead of what most people would agree is logical.”
