Scott Dianda is by far the favorite Democrat of Michigan Conservatives, and his street cred increased big league last week.

Dianda, known for supporting an income tax cut, as well as for being one of the only members of the legislature to bother trying to fight the controversial Meekhof Senate building, brought his AR-15 with him to session last week and even carried it on the House floor...

Dianda had permission to bring the gun, praising Speaker Tom Leonard for allowing him to carry it in the Chamber.

According to MIRS:

""I'm proud that we have someone like Speaker Tom Leonard that made sure that our Second Amendment rights are valid on the floor," Dianda said. "This year, I was able to bring my rifle to my desk and keep it safe and secure."

Dianda is running for the State Senate seat in the 38th District and is expected to do well, stay tuned!
