The Michigan Trump Republicans PAC has endorsed Tom Leonard for Attorney General, and Dr. Joseph Guzman for Secretary of State.
MTR Co founder Meshawn Maddock says Leonard and Guzman have President Trump's back, and that they are the most qualified candidates.
“Getting Tom Leonard and Dr. Joseph Guzman elected at our GOP convention on August 25 is important to accomplishing MTR’s goals,” Maddock said in a press release. “Trump voters need to have the opportunity to elect principled candidates like Tom and Joseph. Convention delegates need to be smart. At convention, delegates need to elect Trump’s strongest supporters and the most qualified candiates to be on the November ballot.”
Leonard, the Speaker of the House, faces State Senator Tonya Schuitmaker in the Attorney General's race.

"Tom is a champion of conservative values and has been a fearless leader as Michigan’s Speaker of the House. He fights for the interests of the people of Michigan rather than the interests of the establishment forces in Lansing.
As attorney general, he will stand with President Trump to uphold the Second Amendment, protect the lives of the unborn, and work to put an end to sanctuary cities.

Dr. Joseph Guzman, a Michigan State Professor, is battling CPA Mary Treder Lang for the Secretary of State nomination.
The convention begins Saturday morning at 9 am.
