WOW: Forest Hills Superintendent Says American+Trump Flags "Symbolize Exclusion And Hate"

(via

(Email WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

Buckle up, you won't believe what the Forest Hills Superintendent just said about the American flag...

Responding to complaints from Ottawa Hills students upset with Forest Hills students for waving an American flag and a Trump flag at a recent football game, Dan Behm, the Forest Hills Superintendent, referred to American and Trump flags as symbols of "hate and exclusion."

According to MLive:

"Forest Hills Superintendent Dan Behm has apologized for the actions of a group of students who upset many during a Friday Grand Rapids football game by brazenly waving a Donald Trump political flag and a "Betsy Ross" 13-star flag.

Grand Rapids Public Schools' Ottawa Hills High played Forest Hills Central at Houseman Field on Sept. 9. GRPS school leaders, parents and community members found the presentation of the flags at a game hosted by a predominately black high school to be inappropriate...

"Parading our current United States flag in a manner that is inconsistent with proper etiquette is disrespectful to all who have served our nation. And, to wave a historical version of our flag, that to some symbolizes exclusion and hate, injects hostility and confusion to an event where no one intended to do so. To our gracious hosts—the students, families, staff, and community of Grand Rapids Ottawa Hills High School and Grand Rapids Public Schools—and to the student-athletes, coaches, officials, and supporters of both teams, we are truly sorry."

And now school leaders want to spread this BS across Michigan to the rest of the MHSAA!

"GRPS Superintendent Teresa Weatherall Neal thanked Behm for his leadership, his letter and apology.

"I cannot deny the hurt, disrespect, and outrage that I and so many others in this community felt about these actions that took place in our backyard, in our home at Houseman Field," said Neal, who thanked those who expressed their deep concerns and disappointment about what transpired.

"This type of behavior should not and will not be tolerated in our stadium or schools – nor should it in any across our state and nation."

Neal agreed with Behm that as educators they need to use this as a teachable moment. She said they could work together with the Kent ISD and the Michigan High School Athletic Association to ensure everyone is better informed, more culturally sensitive, and prepared to create an atmosphere where everyone is welcomed, respected and can enjoy an athletic event together."

Wow... What the hell is happening to this country, where waving a flag supporting a Presidential candidate and another flag supporting America has such a twisted response.

Their is a movement in this country that is desperately trying to eliminate key aspects of American history-the American flag is the next target of this PC rampage and it can not be tolerated.

Orwell nailed it: "he who controls the present controls the past, he who controls the past controls the future."

#MakeMichiganRedAgain: 538 Says Michigan Could Determine Whether Trump Or Hillary Wins, WaPo Calls Us "Key State To Watch"

 By Brandon Hall
(Email WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

A few weeks ago, Chuck Todd noted that the election could come down to Michigan and Wisconsin.

Now 538 has a similar analysis, labeling Michigan as Hillary's "tipping point state" that continues to lean more toward Trump...

According to 538:

"I’ve highlighted Michigan in the table because it would be the tipping-point state if the recent polls are right — that is, the state that would get Clinton to 270 electoral votes if she wins it along with all the states above it. She leads in Michigan by 3 percentage points in the simple average of recent polls, almost exactly matching her lead in national polls. That’s further confirmation that national polls and state polls tell pretty much the same story.

It’s interesting that Michigan shapes up as the tipping-point state in this analysis, since it’s one that had been considered relatively safe for Clinton before. But Clinton’s decline has been steeper recently in the Midwest, including in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and Iowa."

The Washington Post also highlighted Michigan's importance in a piece called "Why Michigan is a key state to watch in the 2016 presidential race."

The Post writes:

"Since 1992, Michigan has voted for the Democratic candidate in presidential elections, but the 50-state poll suggests Trump has a shot at flipping the state. Clinton stands at 46 percent to Trump’s 44 percent, and when third-party candidates are included, has a one-point edge, with Johnson receiving 13 percent and Stein taking 5 percent. Other recent polls in the state find Clinton with a more comfortable lead, between seven and 10 points.

More than 8 in 10 of the state’s registered voters are white, a group that Trump is leading by nine points in the Post-SurveyMonkey poll released this week. Clinton leads by a much larger 51-point margin among the 2 in 10 Michigan voters who are nonwhite. Both Trump’s and Clinton’s edges here are similar to many other states.

Over half, 56 percent, of Michigan’s voters are whites without college degrees, a group that Trump leads by 22 points. Clinton’s doing better among the 26 percent of registered voters in the state who are white college graduates, where she has a 17-point lead. Both leads are similar to what the candidates have in other states among the same groups.

Independents in the state are largely split between the candidates, while almost 9 in 10 partisans on both sides are voting for their parties’ candidates. Independent men are more likely to support Trump, and in Michigan, independent women are split between the two candidates."

Sam Riddle "Amazed" Jeff Wright Hasn't Been "Catching More Hell" For Poisoning Flint

Riddle

By Brandon Hall
(Email WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

Controversial political consultant Sam Riddle says he is stunned Genesee County Drain Commissioner and KWA CEO Jeff Wright has avoided media scrutiny.

"I am amazed that the Genesee County Drain Commissioner Jeff Wright is not catching more hell for the poisoning of Flint; there is no way he can plead ignorance #ArrestGovSnyder," Riddle said earlier this year while commenting on the crisis...

Riddle knows Wright well: Wright ratted Riddle out to the FBI after previously hiring Riddle to help him launch KWA... Wright was the subject of an FBI public corruption investigation and is believed to have turned, becoming a state witness to avoid prosecution...

Riddle, commenting on the situation at the time, told MLive that "I don't lose any swag with punks that want to serve as informants," Riddle said. "I just keep rolling on straight ahead."

Special Prosecutor Needed ASAP: David Leyton-Top Attorney Investigating Flint Water Crisis With Schuette-Has Extensive Ties To Jeff Wright

Leyton, center, with Schuette
  By Brandon Hall
(Email WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

Disturbing news is emerging regarding the Flint Water Crisis: Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton has a clear and present conflict of interest in the case and must step down or be forceably removed immediately.

Leyton is one of the top attorneys on the case, working side-by-side with Attorney General Schuette as one of the chief prosecutors in the Flint water investigation. U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade is also spearheading the effort....

Unfortunately, Leyton is extensively tied to Jeff Wright, "the man who poisoned Flint," the corrupt Genesee County Drain Commissioner who doubles as the CEO of the Karegnondi Water Authority, the controversial plan that led to the crisis.

>>>Meet Jeff Wright, The Man Who Poisoned Flint

>>>Sam Riddle "Amazed" Jeff Wright Hasn't Been "Catching More Hell" For Poisoning Flint

A WMP investigation reveals Wright-a former FBI public corruption target turned rat, banked nearly $200,000 from the contractors who made millions off the Flint Water crisis. Some of the contractors had extensive ties to ex Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick...

Leyton has already recused himself from a past investigation of Wright tied to Blake Rizzo in 2005. Leyton HIMSELF says he knows Wright too well and can't properly investigate him.

According to reports:

"Named as taking bribes from Rizzo were Burton Mayor Charles Smiley, City Administrator Charles Abbey, Genesee County Drain Commissioner Jeffrey Wright and Burton Councilman Bob Centilli.

Smiley, Wright and Centilli deny the claims; Abbey could not be reached for comment.
The Flint Journal could not reach Rizzo or his attorney, Michael Manley, for comment Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, David Leyton, who will take over Busch's job in 2005, said he likely would turn any investigation of the case over to the state attorney general's office.

"We're just not equipped to handle it, " Leyton said. "It would take thousands of man-hours, and with budget cuts, we just don't have that kind of staff."

Leyton said he also personally knows some of the people mentioned in the transcripts, such as political consultant Ken McArdle, Smiley and Wright, so it could be a conflict of interest for him to take on the case. McArdle worked on Leyton's 2004 campaign.

Rizzo accused Smiley and Wright of having Rizzo pay for McArdle's services for their campaigns - $5,000 each for Smiley's campaigns in 1999 and 1995 and $5,000 or $10,000 for Wright's campaign in 2000."

>>>Wright hosted Leyton at a golf party in 2009. Leyton posted about it on Facebook.

>>>And Leyton and Wright teamed up as recently as 3 weeks ago to co-host a fundraiser together...

>>>In addition to Leyton's own admission that he's too close to Wright, his past precedent from other cases indicates he should remove himself from the case.

According to MLive:

"Prosecutor David Leyton has recused himself from a case involving two former Genesee Intermediate School District administrators using public funds to facilitate an affair.

Leyton, who asked the Michigan State Police to investigate the matter involving former superintendent Thomas Svitkovich and assistant superintendent Beverly Knox-Pipes, said he recused himself because Svitkovich had previously donated to his political campaigns.

"I recused myself to avoid the appearance of any improprieties," said Leyton.

Leyton said he learned Svitkovich had donated made campaign donations to him after he asked one of his campaign members to look to see if either Svitkovich or Knox-Pipes had made any donations.
Leyton said he was not sure how much Svitkovich had donated. Leyton said he sent a letter to the Michigan Attorney General asking him to recuse himself a few weeks ago."

Wright has made at least one donation to Leyton and possibly other contributions as well...

Flint Water activist Leroy Jackson blasted Leyton on Facebook. Jackson is amazed Wright, along with ex-FLint Mayor Dwayne Walling, have avoided punishment .

"The residents of Flint, MI. do not trust Genesee County," Jackson said. "If (Leyton) arrests Ex Mayor Walling and Genesee County Drain Comm. Jeff Wright, then he means business. If not, he's on some Bulls***!"

McQuade (Freep)
Mr. Leyton should have NEVER allowed himself to investigate this case in the first place. Even worse, as the investigation continued, he still did not recuse himself!

Now, immense damage has been done to the credibility of the investigation. No evidence exists Leyton is corrupt in this case, but he himself admits he can't investigate Jeff Wright. Wright also donated to him, just like past cases where Leyton dismissed himself from the case...

The Genesee County portion of the investigation should immediately be turned over to a special prosecutor, or U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade, to avoid any appearance of impropriety.

If Leyton won't go on his own accord, Attorney General Schuette should intervene immediately. If Mr. Schuette refuses to act, Mrs. McQuade should step in.

WMP called for a full Flint investigation in October of 2015 and cares deeply about the situation there. It's complicated, unlike the media narrative being portrayed... It's also worth remembering that while WMP called for a full investigation, Schuette initially refused to do, declining in December but later changing course...

Flint Lives Matter, as all lives matter. The problem is that again and again actions speak louder than words, and the people of Flint are immensely frustrated, screwed over repeatedly by politicians in both parties at every level of government. Enough is ENOUGH!

Meet Jeff Wright, The Man Who Poisoned Flint

 By Brandon Hall
(Email WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

As Flint's families accused him of murdering their friends and loved ones, surely Jeff Wright must have known the jig was up-his evil house of cards was collapsing.

“You have killed people,” Flint resident Getrude Saunders told him at a meeting of the Karmegondi Water Authority (KWA) earlier this year. “You have taken life freely with no problems.”

“We wouldn’t even be in this predicament if it wasn’t for the switch,” another heartbroken resident said.

So...who is Jeff Wright? What in the hell is the "KWA?"

The controversy over the Flint Water Crisis has flooded airwaves and newspapers nationwide for months, with calls for the prosecution of Gov. Snyder popular in far-left circles as Flint residents are used as political props and photo ops.

However, the most critical component of the scandal remains almost completely uncovered by the media: Jeff Wright's pivotal role in the devastation that Flint families have suffered.

Wright, the Democrat Genesee County Drain Commissioner, is a former FBI public corruption target subsequently turned rat who was determined to see Flint end its decades old relationship with Detroit for water so it would switch and join the Karmegondi Water Authority, the controversial plan he created to take water from Lake Huron and distribute it to Flint, then sell it to neighboring municipalities.

“KWA is, in the most basic terms, an 80-mile system of pipes (60-66 inches in diameter) and two pumping stations that will send water to Flint and Genesee County for treatment and sale to other communities,” writes the Detroit News."Wright has been the driving force behind KWA. Prior to his arrival as Genesee County’s drain commissioner in 2000, his predecessors had looked at the reliability issue in the late 1990s, but little came of their efforts.”

What's at stake with KWA? $300 million for Wright and his buddies.

Disturbingly, a WMP investigation of Wright’s campaign finance records reveals that as Flint's kids and residents drank poisoned water, Wright cashed in, banking nearly $200,000 in recent years from multiple contractors who are making MILLIONS from the KWA.

WMP's analysis goes back to 2006-the same time range Attorney General Schuette is looking at.

According to the Detroit Free Press:

"Wright, the KWA, and other figures in and around the public health catastrophe are under increased scrutiny in the wake of the crisis, which has exposed an unknown number of children and other Flint residents to lead poisoning and may also be linked to outbreaks of Legionnaires' disease in Genesee County that have resulted in nine deaths. Andrew Arena, a former Detroit FBI director who is heading up Attorney General Bill Schuette's investigation of the crisis, told the Free Press editorial board Thursday his investigation extends back to 2006, when the KWA, slated for completion this summer, was in its infancy."

One of those contractors was a top contributor to Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick ,and was sued by Macomb County for ripping off $16 million from Macomb residents in a disastorous Sterling Heights project.

The firm , D'Agostini and Sons, was even named in the federal indictment against Kilpatrick. That's right: Wright's handpicked contractor for KWA agreed to split profits from Kilpatrick's top moneyman Bobby Feguson!

WMP's investigation of campaign finance documents filed with the Genesee County Clerk reveals the firm’s partners gave Wright a stunning $27,900 since 2007...

According to the Oakland Press:

“Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Anthony Marrocco on Monday filed a federal lawsuit against former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and more than two dozen contractors for allegedly overcharging the county by $25.5 million on a sewer repair project in Sterling Heights. The 19-page lawsuit is primarily based on a U.S. Justice Department indictment filed against many of the same defendants that claim the ex-mayor fraudulently funneled millions of dollars to a friend, Bobby Ferguson, through a scheme of inflated invoices and charging for work not performed."

According to Crain’s:

“The civil lawsuit alleges that D'Agostini "was aware of and participated in the scheme by, among other things, presenting and receiving payment upon grossly inflated and inaccurate invoices."

The federal indictment claims Ferguson told Kilpatrick in September 2004 that a "Subcontractor DA" had "wanted to share the work with Ferguson on a 50/50 basis (and) Kilpatrick had to instruct (then DWSD Director Victor) Mercado about the arrangement."

D'Agostini & Sons allegedly collected nearly $16.4 million after agreeing with the Kilpatrick defendants to inflate invoices, "so long as Ferguson received an amount equal to the amount to be paid" to D'Agostini, according to the Macomb lawsuit. A majority of the other businesses named as defendants were D'Agostini subcontractors."

Wow!

Another firm connected to Wright is Lockwood, Andrews, and Newmann. They have been charged by Attorney General Bill Schuette as being culpable for the crisis. LAN gave Wright over $15,000 since 2010, WMP has learned…

According to MLive, LAN "violated their legal duties and caused the Flint Water crisis to occur, continue and worsen," the complaint states. "As a result, the state of Michigan suffered damaged for past, ongoing, and future harm to public health, destruction of public property, and cost to public resources."

Rowe Engineering is a LAN subcontractor. They were busted arguing for a temporary switch to FLint River Water in an email that went "missing."

According to the Detroit Free Press:

"A report from Flint-based Rowe Professional Services was referenced in a 2014 briefing the DEQ sent Snyder. The briefing paper said Rowe in August 2013 had “completed an engineering proposal for improvements to the City of Flint WTP that would allow continuous operation … using the Flint River” until the new KWA (Karegnondi Water Authority) pipeline to Lake Huron was completed."

Rowe also aggressively pushed KWA to the FLint City Council back in 2011...

"Pumping the water from Lake Huron would be cheaper over time than buying water from Detroit, which the city has done for decades, or treating Flint River water, according to the analysis done by Rowe Engineering and presented to the Flint City Council tonight," MLive wrote.

Rowe gave Wright $31,000 since 2006!

Spicer Group is another Wright connected firm helping KWA. They were tasked with conniving regulators into approving KWA, and have given Wright $18,000 since 2006 according to a WMP analysis of campaign finance records.

According to reports:

"By June, KWA and Saginaw, Mich.-based environmental consultant Spicer Group convinced regulators that open cutting was less disruptive to the species, requiring only "two weeks to get in and get out as opposed to the eight weeks tunneling could have required," says KWA deputy CEO John O'Brien. By mid-July, Zito Construction, Grand Blanc, Mich., began installing 36-in.-dia ductile iron Class 150 pipe along a 14-mile stretch from Genessee to Lapeer counties."

Zito Construction-just mentioned above-is also a KWA contractor who has been a consistent donor to Wright. Zito gave Wright $13,000 since 2007…

E+L Construction is another KWA contractor, they will do the work for the KWA pump station. They have given Wright $6,400 since 2014, WMP's investigation reveals.

Also: the American Cast Iron Pipe Company is the contractor for much of the piping for KWA. They have given Wright $24,000 since 2006...

Wade Trim and AECOM are "program managers for the project," and of course, both are Wright donors, WMP's analysis shows.

Wade Trim has given Wright $34,700 since 2006.

AECOM has given $18,000....

Much has been made about who was at fault, the locals or the state. A bombshell email sheds light on that issue, claiming Flint's Emergency Manager, appointed by Gov. Snyder, worked with the local politicians and together, they finalized KWA.

"John O'Malia, an engineering consultant involved in promoting the KWA project, said in a January 2012 e-mail to Liane Shekter Smith, who has since been fired as head of the DEQ's drinking water section and is facing criminal charges related to the public health catastrophe, that the Flint emergency manager "has given powers back to Mayor and Council to make the decision on KWA as a precaution if the EM court challenge holds up. This will enable the Mayor and Council to approve the KWA agreement and not be challenged in court!"

Hammer noted that in viewing the video of the March 2013 Flint City Council meeting where the KWA project was approved in a 7-1 vote, council members express confusion and consternation about why, on this one issue, the EM had asked them to make the decision. "If one believes the O'Malia memo, the City Council vote on KWA was a strategic ploy with no legal effect," unless the EM law was struck down.

You guessed it: O'Malia's company is a Wright donor, paying him $1,500 in multiple donations since 2006!

That brings the total of KWA contractor donations for Wright to over $188,000!

>>>Also: “Wright's drain commission also had a contract in 2007 with Synagro, a sludge company that was also at the center of the Detroit City Hall corruption case. Wright said his office has used Synagro periodically, through competitive bidding, apply waste products to land. Wright said he had no dealings with James Rosendall, the former Synagro official who was sent to prison for bribing Detroit officials.”

A WMP investigation reveals that despite Wright claiming he had no dealings with Rosendall, he was in fact yet ANOTHER corrupt Wright donor!

Campaign finance records reveal Rosendall and his wife donated $2500 to Wright from 2006- 2009...

What did he do with all that money? He wrote himself "loan repayment" checks and also lined the pockets of local and state officials like Dwayne Walling and Sheldon Neely in order to get their support for KWA!

Check out some of his donations below using KWA blood money:

Flint residents aren’t the only people who want answers from Wright-the State’s Flint Water Crisis Task Force does, too.

According to Michigan Radio:

“The state panel examining Flint's lead tainted water is looking at the pipeline deal that some say was the catalyst of the crisis. Genesee County Drain Commissioner Jeff Wright walked the panel through the history of the Karegnondi Water Authority pipeline… But Flint city administrator Sylvester Jones says there are still questions that must be answered.

"There was a number of things that are just not possible to get the answers to because I guess they didn’t come prepared to share,” Jones said after Friday’s meeting, “But we’ll get those answers….more conversations to come.”

According to the Detroit News:

“This whole issue of the KWA — in an area that had overcapacity for water delivery, and a region of the state that was impoverished — we think there needs to be a full investigation of the history of KWA,” said task force co-chairman Ken Sikkema, former Michigan Senate Majority Leader."

The alleged cost savings touted by Wright and KWA supporters is iffy at best.

According to the MSU institute of Public Policy and Social Research:

“(T)he cost savings provided by the KWA are truly negligible, and debatable. The graph below shows the projected cost savings for the switch versus DWSD, given the water rate offered in the final negotiations between DWSD and the City of Flint. This graph was culled from the final offer from DWSD to the City of Flint.”

The facts contained in this report also seem to back Kwame Kilpatrick’s claim that former Gov. Jennifer Granholm was well aware of issues in Flint. Clearly, Kwame-connected contractors have been knee-deep in the Flint water issues, so it makes perfect sense he would know what was going on and evidently, he says that Granholm did, too…

According to a previous WMP article:

"Former Michigan Governor, Jennifer Granholm, was well aware of the issues with the Flint Water Department, and their inability to produce contaminant free water moving forward, nor afford the equipment & technology to do so," Kilpatrick said."

It was Granholm’s MDEQ who first approved KWA in 2009…

“Karegnondi officials applied for, and received, a permit from Michigan’s Department of Environmental Quality to withdraw up to 85 million gallons of water a day from Lake Huron. Signed by Gov. Jennifer Granholm, it was the first withdrawal permit issued under the terms of 2008’s Great Lakes Compact.”

Back to Wright, who is no stranger to controversy.

Once the target of an FBI public corruption investigation in 2004, Wright became an informant for the feds, ratting out Flint political consultant Sam Riddle in a conversation taped by the FBI.

Former Genessee County Prosecutor said Wright "didn't become an informant out of civic duty," he did it to save his own ass. As the Riddle scandal died down, Wright was finally able to escalate his dream project, the KWA…

According to MLive:

"Former county prosecutor Arthur Busch says there are several possible ways that county Drain Commissioner Jeff Wright became a confidential source for the FBI.

But there's one thing Busch feels certain of: "I'm sure of one thing. Jeff Wright didn't do it out of civic duty."

Wright was identified in federal court documents this week as a confidential informant for the FBI and said today that he agreed to assist the agency in its public corruption investigation of Flint native Sam Riddle.

Busch said he turned over information about Wright's alleged connection to former Burton developer Blake Rizzo to the FBI after a public corruption investigation he helped carry out in 2004...

The former prosecutor said he turned the information he had over to federal investigators and left duplicate information in a bankers box for incoming Prosecutor David Leyton with a note that wished him well."

Jeff Wright holds a hardhat with pictures of all KWA contractors on it

That wasn't Wright's first FBI issue. According to MLive:

"Genesee County Drain Commissioner Jeff Wright's assistance in a federal bribery case out of Detroit wasn't his first brush with the FBI.

Federal agents in 2005 confiscated Wright's campaign finance documents from the county clerk's office as part of a federal public corruption investigation into Burton city officials in which two people were sentenced, according to Flint Journal files."

But WAIT-THERE’S MORE! Before he was targeting Riddle and ratting him out, Wright had Riddle on the payroll to help lobby for KWA!!!

According to the Detroit Free Press

“Genesee County Drain Commissioner Jeff Wright, who also is the CEO of the KWA, hired Riddle as a $2,000-a-month consultant in 2007 and 2008 to lobby the Detroit City Council in connection with the planned pipeline.”

Former Genesee County Prosecutor Arthur Busch told the Free Press this week he wanted to charge Wright with money laundering in 2005 but was unable to do so because of legal issues involving the statute of limitations...

"What I'm surprised at is how Wright has avoided any scrutiny," Busch said Monday. "He's in charge of water for the whole ... county."

Whatever evidence Wright may have gathered against Riddle was never presented in court. Riddle said he became suspicious of Wright working with law enforcement when Wright began telling him, "I'll pay whatever it costs" to get the Detroit council to share its withdrawal permit.”

Riddle also told MLive that "I don't lose any swag with punks that want to serve as informants," Riddle said. "I just keep rolling on straight ahead."

It looks like Donald Trump hit the nail on the head when he announced he'll be visitng Flint.

Commenting on the crisis, Trump said “And probably they wanted it to happen because companies were going to make a lot of money from the switch,” Trump said. “That’s probably what happened, who knows?”

#MakeMichiganRedAgain: Nearly 3,000 Rally For Trump In Flash Mobs Across Michigan

Trump Flash Mob (Photo by Tami Carlone)

By Brandon Hall
(Email WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

It looks like media reports of Mr. Trump's death in Michigan have been greatly exaggerated: an ad buy is on the way, polls are tightening, staff is expanding, and impressively, more people came out to support Donald Trump in the streeets Tuesday than have attended Hillary's 3 rallies in Michigan COMBINED during the 2016 campaign-that ought to tell you something!

The event was organized by grassroots Trump supporters via the Michigan Conservative Coalition,  and from Flint to Traverse City-and all across Pure Michigan-Trump supporters responded.

“We were overwhelmed by the turnout! With two sites added at the last minute, we are ecstatic to report that based on our Corner Captain’s reports, an estimated 2,700 Trump supporters rallied (Tuesday). That is a huge turnout,” said Rosanne Ponkowski, President of Michigan Conservative Coalition.

Flash mobs were held at 25 locations in 19 counties across Michigan....

Some of the flash mobs were even caught on drones! Watch video HERE

According to Lauren Gibbons of MLive:

"Five of the flash mobs took place in Oakland County, and two each were organized in Wayne and Macomb counties. Other locations included intersections in Jackson, Muskegon, Genesee, Saginaw, Kent, Kalamazoo and Livingston counties, among others.

Maddock said the coalition was made fun of for its flash mob plans at first - she said critics asked how a bunch of people holding signs would help win the election. But the flash mobs blossomed into a larger affair than Maddock or any other organizers imagined.

The group had done flash mobs for state House and Senate races in years past, but the response for the Trump events "just exploded beyond our wildest dreams," Michigan Conservative Coalition President Rosanne Ponkowski said...

The Trump campaign was not formally involved with the flash mobs, but Michigan State Campaign Director Scott Hagerstrom commended the group's work in a statement.

"The grass roots support for Mr. Trump is unlike anything I have ever seen in politics and contrasts sharply with the complete lack of energy behind Hillary Clinton's campaign," Hagerstrom said."

Guzman Under Attack: Liberal Students Smear Hispanic Trump Supporter+Michigan State Professor

By Brandon Hall
(WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

Michigan State Professor Dr. Joseph Guzman was recently named as a member of Donald Trump's National Hispanic Advisory Committee, as well as a statewide co-chair for Donald Trump's Michigan campaign.

Guzman attended a recent rally outside of Lansing last month where he was able to sit behind Trump and subsequently meet the GOP Presidential candidate-that's where his troubles escalated.

He's used to taking hell for being a Hispanic Republican, but now Guzman is being harassed in the halls of Michigan State, online, and even while out with his family. Evidently, a picture of him behind Trump at the rally has irked some far-left students.

One attack being perpetrated on Guzman is a flyer making its way around campus full of personal attacks, insinuating Guzman is a sub-par professor despite high student approval ratings. The flyer, seen above, features the picture of Guzman behind Trump....

It also claims Guzman supports fascist policies and "unfair and unequal" treatment toward Hispanic migrant workers...

Guzman tells WMP he was disappointed by the tactics.

"The First Amendment protects freedom of expression and association, particularly in the civic realm," Guzman tells WMP. "It's unfortunate some think that civic activity involves suppressing other individuals right to free speech with lies, smears and disruption."

Don't you just love the "tolerant left?" :p :)

Guzman meets with Trump in New York

Guzman tells WMP he's excited to work with Trump.

"It is an honor to be a part of Mr. Trump's National Hispanic Advisory Committee," Guzman tells WMP. "Although I do not speak for the campaign, I can tell you that we enjoyed an open, earnest and constructive discussion this afternoon. I am energized and more convinced than ever that Donald Trump is the leader to move our nation and all our communities in the right direction."

Guzman supports Donald Trump's immigration plan announced last night in what may have been Trump's best policy address ever.

“Mr. Trump’s plan to strengthen our border and stop illegal immigration is tough and fair for all," Guzman said in a statement.

"It will enhance security, address unlawful trafficking and keep Americans safe," Guzman continued. "Untold suffering is caused by human and drug trafficking stemming from our uncontrolled border, and it must be stopped.  Mr. Trump’s plan to immediately secure our borders, end sanctuary cities, protect us from violent offenders and enforce current immigration laws is the opposite of Hillary Clinton’s dishonest 100-day amnesty plan and the Democrats' other hollow, unfulfilled promises to Latinos.  Voters have a clear choice in this election: address our border problems in a lasting way that is tough and fair for all, or continue with empty promises that compound human suffering and compromise our safety and security."
