Popular Northern Michigan legislator State Rep. Lee Chatfield has no plans of running for Speaker of the House, he tells MIRS.

No word on whether or not Chatfield will run for Congress to replace a retiring Dr. Dan Benishek.

Chatfield Says He Has No Plans On Running For Speaker 

"A first-term House Republican who's been much discussed as a potential candidate for GOP leader said today that he has no plan or interest in pursuing the job of House speaker."
