State Rep. Lee Chatfield and RNC National Committeewoman Kathy Berden spent time this weekend campaigning for retired Lt. General Jack Bergman in Michigan's 1st Congressional District.

Bergman is in the midst of a tough race against former Michigan Democratic Party Chair Lon Johnson...

"Thank you to everyone who joined Jack Bergman and me yesterday as we toured the 107th district! It was a great time speaking of our vision for this region and for our nation," Chatfield said in a Facebook statement.

"If you wish to send a man to Washington with a proven record of fighting to defend our livelihood and Constitution, there's only one option in this race: Lt. Gen. Jack Bergman.

The 1st Congressional district deserves a man of integrity who cares about the future of our children, and that's why I'm voting for Jack Bergman! Remember, get out and vote on November 8."

WikiLeaks: Granholm Says Hillary Lives In A "Privilege Bubble" And Needs To Be "Humbled+Inspired"

In an email revealed by WikiLeaks, former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm says Hillary lives in a "privelege bubble" and should work "low wage service jobs" to become "humbled and inspired."

"She could acknowledge flat-out that she's been in a security/privilege bubble, and is determined to break out of it," Granholm wrote. "Then she selects 8 occupations that she is willing to spend one day working at. She humbles herself, but gives dignity to the workers whose salaries she wants to raise. Perhaps she makes beds in a hotel for a day. Perhaps she busses tables at Denny's or works behind the counter at McDonald's or Chipotle's! Perhaps she works in a nursing home...She would be humbled and inspired by the experience. Just a thought."

Ronna Responds To Matt Hall: Wendy Day Faces Resignation Or Removal Over Refusal To Back Trump

MIGOP Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel says that Grassroots Vice Chair Wendy Day must resign, or face removal from the state committee after her refusal to back Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump conflicts with party rules.

According to an email shared by MIGOP State Committee member Luke Londo:

"Over the weekend, I received Matt Hall’s letter regarding our MRP Grassroots Vice Chair Wendy Day. Our mission, as the Michigan Republican Party, is to elect Republicans up and down the ballot. I take very seriously any actions that hurt this mission. I have been working nonstop this cycle, raising money and supporting all of our Republican candidates, as have many of you.

Those elected to leadership positions within the Michigan Republican Party have an obligation to support the Republican nominees up and down the ticket. While we may have different policy opinions or take issue with certain elements of each campaign, ultimately we have a duty, as party officers, to support the nominees the voters have chosen. If at any time we are unable to support the nominees within our party, one can choose to resign and forego this important role in party leadership."

Breaking: Matt Hall Asks Ronna To Boot Wendy Day From MIGOP Leadership For Refusal To Back Trump

Matt Hall, a MIGOP State Committee Member, conservative activist, and former Trump delegate in Cleveland, says that MIGOP Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel must remove Grassroots Vice Chair Wendy Day from her post.

According to an email statement:
"Members of the Michigan Republican State Committee:

I wanted to share with you the note I sent to Chairwoman McDaniel today.

Chairwoman McDaniel:

I am writing you to formally request that you invoke your Article IV G 1. power to declare the office of Michigan Republican Party Grassroots Vice Chair vacant.

This section of the Michigan Republican Party Bylaws states that "The Chairman shall have the power to declare vacant the seat of any officer who refuses to support the Republican nominee for any office within the State of Michigan."

Donald J. Trump is the Republican Presidential Nominee. He is seeking election to the office of The Presidency, an office on the ballot in the state of Michigan.

Wendy Day is the current occupant of the office of Grassroots Vice Chair of the Michigan Republican Party. She has used her privilege of serving as an officer of the Michigan Republican Party as a bully pulpit to voice her opposition to the Republican Presidential Nominee, and in turn has attempted to discourage Republican voters from supporting the Republican Party Presidential nominee.

Note that her title "MIGOP Vice Chair" is displayed on the screen when she speaks.

I have transcribed some of her statements that justify declaring the office of Grassroots Vice Chair vacant.

"I am not a fan of either" (referring to Mr. Trump & Hillary)

"I think that most Americans are kinda feeling like I am, that neither one is fit for office"

"We probably need an all male staff in the White House, because between Bill & Donald there's a lot of potential for trouble"

"My conscience is not comfortable with either one of them . . . looking my children in the eye and saying yes, I believe one of them would be a good President - I can't do it"

These remarks clearly demonstrate Mrs. Day's refusal to support our Republican Presidential Nominee. Which gives you the power to declare the office vacant.

Declaring an officer position vacant is a power that should be exercised very carefully by the Michigan Republican Party Chairman. However, Ms. Day's comments are exactly the reason that this provision is contained in our bylaws. In fact, in my 12 years as an active member of the Michigan Republican Party, I have never seen comments even close to these directed toward the Party's Gubernatorial or Presidential nominee from any officer of the Michigan Republican Party. We must send a message to Michigan voters and party members, who are working so hard to elect Donald J. Trump President of the United States, that the Michigan Republican Party stands united with them, and our Presidential nominee.

I have full confidence in you to do the right thing. I also have full confidence in your ability to lead our Party to a Republican Presidential Victory in Michigan, and return Republican majorities to Congress, the Michigan House of Representatives, and the Michigan Supreme Court.

I look forward to celebrating with you on November 8th.

Finally! MLive Forces Arlan Meekhof To Comment On His SUPER Shady Version Of The Clinton Foundation

WMP reported months ago about Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof's shady, secret Clinton Foundationesque "non profit," the West Michigan Community Preservation Fund, and now MLive is covering the issue.

They left out the part about him blatantly lying saying he was giving money to those with medical needs, and also left out $25k in donations, but it's a great first step...

According to a fantastic article that was the result of a joint investigation between Emily Lawler of MLive and Craig Mauger of the Michigan Campaign Finance Network:
"Exactly 100 days after the state Senate signed off on millions of dollars in tax breaks for data centers, the company seeking the change gave $10,000 to an account that helps pay Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof's expenses.

It is illegal for a corporation to give directly to a candidate's campaign account in Michigan. But the $10,000 contribution from Switch, a Nevada-based company planning to open a data center in West Michigan, falls into a difficult-to-trace and rarely discussed form of legal fundraising where many donations don't have to be disclosed...

The money from Switch went to the Meekhof Administrative Account, known as a 527 account, which covers office-related expenses, such as travel or conference fees. Meekhof, R-West Olive, declined to comment on the donation...

The Meekhof Administrative Account raised more than $25,000, a threshold that requires these types of accounts to report donors and expenditures to the Internal Revenue Service. But many lawmakers who benefit from smaller 527 accounts or nonprofits do not have to disclose donations.

Meekhof is connected to both a nonprofit, the West Michigan Community Preservation Fund, and a 527 administrative account, the Meekhof Administrative Account.

The administrative account brings in enough money it has to disclose both donors and expenditures to the IRS. The nonprofit West Michigan Community Preservation Fund doesn't have to disclose specific donors but public records available through the IRS show it raised $273,350 between 2013-2015.

The nonprofit fund, which was directed in 2014 by Bob DeVries, Ellen Kletzka, Steve Linder and Penny Blair, according to the most recent IRS documents — declined to voluntarily disclose donors to for this investigation. Linder and Kletzka work for the Sterling Corporation, a Republican communications firm; while Blair works in constituent relations for the Senate and DeVries serves as Meekhof's chief of staff .

In two years, the Meekhof Administrative has reimbursed Meekhof $80,315 for meals, travel, telephone costs and parking, according to filings which are publicly available on the IRS website.

"I do attend some conferences that are helpful in leadership things. I plan to continue to do those things because the public asks me to make good decisions," Meekhof said. "I want to be able to see all the best stuff that's out there right now and how problems are being solved."

Michi-Leaks: Chelsea Smears Young Female Bernie Supporters As "Emotional," Says Snyder Shouldn't Resign At Secret Birmingham Fundraiser

In an email from WikiLeaks, Chelsea Clinton is revealed to have said young female Bernie Sanders supporters were "emotional" because of free college...

She also argues that Gov. Snyder shouldn't resign, and that President Obama isn't "establishment."

According to an excerpt:

"Q: young women and sanders - why?

A: never want to speak for someone else. Part of it is emotional appeal of free college for young people even though sanders has yet to detail exactly how that will work. My moms plan just takes longer to explain. (Explains her mom's policy.) For so many people this is their first election; my mom an advocate for automatic registration at 18. For people who haven't voted before and believe in Sanders' vision, may not understand that Obama had 60 votes for ACA, he only had 60 votes. And many D lost their jobs. Sanders intro'd 9 times and never had dem cosponsor. There's idealism that I really respect but hope people can think about what's achievable. And how we pay for it. Sanders' plan by own estimation is 13T and others put higher. Close to our GDP in entire year. Not what people think about."

Did refinery29 sit down interview as well as short stand ups with Detroit NBC and Detroit FOX. Also with MLive, Detroit News and Free Press. No flags. Think it'll be really excellent coverage on the issue. Virtually no campaign or political questions- all flint focused. She referred a lot to listening to the community and how heartbreaking and outrageous it is.

Reporters also interviewed Dr Mona and a couple of the staff or nurses. In fact, aside from blowing up the schedule completely because twice as much press showed up as I thought (I am avoiding eye contact with Bari who I can feel glaring at me right now to wrap!), it was a very excellent tour and press coverage I think will be fantastic. A: sanders has been in office almost as long as I've been alive. Establishment doesn't want to make change. President Obama isn't part of establishment. ACA and economy. John Lewis is leading voice for more than three decades - is he establishment. Is PP establishment? Is HRC? This is really and unhelpful construct. I get it. Someone who has been in elected office for longer than her mom has and these people supporting my mom have made more change. Who are the change makers? On women's rights or gay rights or gun control, what my mom has done vs sanders has done, she has better record.

Q: kids don't remember how successful your dads presidency was. Have her talk about issues like this

A: What I talk about, she does talk about. May not be covered.

Q: need a catchy phrase like yes we can to organize young people. She is so much better than 2008

A: thank you. 2008 was different but Obama in two years was more effective than sanders in his career.

A: that's (resigning) not an answer either. And mayor only there since November.

Q: elementary school and in Detroit teachers have to keep kids safe and alive instead of teach. Pre K instead of focus on college afford.

Despite desperate attempts by the corporate media to disrupt his support ,RNC Committeewoman Kathy Berden says she's still 100% Trump.

It was announced today that Berden will help lead the newly announced "Michigan Women For Trump" leadership team.

“It's an honor to work with such amazing and talented women across the Great Lakes State in support of Mr. Trump," Berden said in a press release.

" As a proud mother, grandmother, wife, and small business owner, I will be voting for Donald Trump on November 8^th because he is the change agent and problem-solver our country desperately needs.
