Runco's Controversial Vote In 2012 Romney/Santorum "Rule Change" Resurfaces

Runco
 By Brandon Hall
(Email Him at WestMIPolitics@Gmail.com)

State Board Of Education candidate Bill Runco's role in the 2012 "deleGATE" drama is coming back to haunt the popular 12th Republican Congressional District Chair.

Runco, a former State Representative and Judge, sided with the Mitt Romney faction in a controversial vote awarding the Michigan native what some viewed as an "extra" delegate. Runco says Romney's extra delegate was in accordance with the rules.

According to reports:

"Michigan GOP officials have raised a ruckus in the presidential race by awarding native son Mitt Romney 16 of the state's delegates rather than the 15 it appeared he won in Tuesday's primary election.

Michigan has 30 delegates to the party's national convention. State GOP rules said two of the delegates should be awarded proportionally based on the statewide vote, according to a party memo shared with the campaigns. The other 28 would be awarded based on the results in each of the state's 14 congressional districts.

Under these rules, Romney and GOP rival Rick Santorum's would split the delegates, with each getting 15. However, the Michigan Republican Party Credentials Committee voted 4-2 Wednesday night to give 16 delegates to Romney and 14 delegates to Santorum.

Committee members said the Feb. 7 memo was incorrect. Instead, they said, a new party rule adopted Feb. 4 was intended to award both statewide delegates to the statewide winner.

The Santorum campaign said it would appeal the ruling and, in an email, referred to the turn of events as an "election scandal."

"Clearly, Romney was very disappointed after spending a fortune to end up with a tie in the delegates in his home state. And now, clearly, somebody is trying to change the rules after the election to help Mitt Romney," said Santorum campaign senior adviser John Brabender.

Those changes were never communicated to the campaigns, however, and some party officials were still saying Tuesday that the two at-large delegates would be awarded proportionally.

"Regrettably, there was an error in the memo drafted and sent to respective campaigns. It is clear now that the memo did not properly communicate the intent of the committee," Anuzis said. "Could you interpret it both ways? Yes. But this is what we decided."

Besides Anuzis, those voting "yes" were Michigan GOP Chairman Bobby Schostak, party Co-Chairwoman Sharon Wise and former state Rep. Bill Runco, who endorsed Romney in a Feb. 20 press release. Neither Schostak nor Wise has endorsed a candidate."

Runco tells WMP that Romney won the statewide popular vote, that's why he voted that way.

"My memory is murky on this, however for the 2012 Credentials Meeting, I recall that the rules as I understood them required the statewide delegates be given to the person that won the popular vote in Michigan, and I voted accordingly," Runco said.

Breaking: Arndt Behind Disgusting False Flag Email Attacking Kim Shmina While Claiming To Be Norm Hughes?

Arndt

By Brandon Hall
(Email him at WestMiPolitics@Gmail.com)
The person behind the email attacking Wayne State University Board Of Governors candidate Kim Shmina is believed to be Chris Arndt, a Republican activist who was defeated in his bid for MIGOP Administrative Vice-Chair in 2015.

A "Constant Contact" account associated with the email blast traces back to Arndt...

Here's how it breaks down:

In there's a link to the delegate information packet, the link is to a google doc owned by Frank Egeler  eatonpds@gmail.com

He works in the Senate Caucus under Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof and also seems to be involved...

image1.png

This is what gives it away. Every mass-mailing like this has links at the bottom. The links uniquely identify the recipient. Someone Copy/Pasted one of Norms old e-mails into mailchimp and then started editing. When they did, they left behind the identifying info of the original. That's why there's two footers at the bottom.

Inline image 1

Clicking the unsubscribe/update/forward links in the constant contact footer show the e-mail address "leadership.arndt@gmail.com"
Inline image 2
Norm Hughes blasted the email, calling the culprit a "dirtbag."

"Whomever put out the Shmina hit piece tonight hijacked our logos, address, format, said it was for Your Conservative Team (which we use), even linked our Eventbrite fund raising site," Hughes tells WMP.

"They used a slightly different sending email address and used Mailchimp. We used different mailing service. While we do not support Shmina (I prefer Fiani and Busuito for WSU, McMillin and Rowley for SBE) we do not get in the gutter like this...It is a bizarre sick dirty trick. We will find the dirtbag doing this."

State Convention
Forgive me for this being a short edition but the GOP state convention is tomorrow and I had to put this out on short notice.

We're all meeting together, both friends and rivals but the Establishment is again stacking the deck for its chosen Candidate against the interests of We The People.

here is the list of candidates and you can easily see which are working against us: https://www.migop.org/2016-state-convention

Here is the information so good American delegates can take part.

the Establishment Candidate

It's no secret that Kim Shmina ran for the State Chairman position back in 2015 to divide the Conservative Vote so the Establishment Romney can win.  She was an Agent of the Establishment the entire time, and never truly a TEA Party member, let alone a true TEA candidate.

Shmina has always been in deep with the Party.  But she's not a tea party leader or grassroots leader in the state.  So instead she looked for a quick path to party power, and became the vice chair of the 10th district.  She used this bully pulpit to harass tea party groups into supporting her but since she had no power outside of her district, she was not able to bully her way to more than 6%.  She's never been more than an obstacle to the grassroots but she joined the Party chair race because she believed she would get a reward.

We The People voted against her husband for a reason and that wasn't the reward she was going to get.  Her seat on the Wayne State University Board of GOVERNORS is her prize and it's what she wanted all along.

Kim fakes being a tea party darling because sh has no connections to real tea parties. She's Not an organizer, doesn't regularly show up at meetings that aren't for her county party....

Even her campaign for WSU Governor is filled with empty trickery.

"Dr" Shmina has a doctorate but IS NOT AN MD. This certainly doesn't stop her from trying to appear like one though.  Dr. Michael Busuito is an actual doctor and surgeon. She has a doctorate in nursing.  I wouldn't let her operate on me. I wouldn't let her treat me. Busuito's endorsement saying "Two Doctors running for Wayne State Board of Governors. Sounds good to me." implies that she's a surgeon too. It's just more trickery.  It won't work.

But Why Is "Doctor" Kim Shmina running for WSU Governor?
Because she wants to line her pockets with state $$$$$$$$$$$

She's THE Croniest of

Crony Capitalists

The real reason "Doctor" Kim Shmina is a running for WSU Governor:

She's a Thief

"Doctor" Kim Shmina is of course deeply connected to the construction company AZ Shmina. They've been operating for over a century.  They do a lot of construction projects for the State.  they have a big history of performing public works projects. Everything from little firehouses to large water purification plant rennovations.  A large history of cronyism.

Naturally they do a lot of university projects.

"Doctor" Shmina only wants to be elected to the WSU board to get contracts funneled to AZ Shmina construction.

How long have the Shminas been taking money from the taxpayer in construction fees?

Kim Shmina is the ultimate crony capitalist trying to skim $$$$ from We The People to line her own pockets!

Look at this University of Michigan Board of Regents minutes document from July 1959!

If her family has been doing this for years then it's no question she's angling for this position just for a bigger slice of the family pie, and to make sure that pie gets bigger every year
Click this and read it. We know "Doctor" Kim Shmina sent this out, right? Check the bottom. Her campaign is funded by Kathy Berden, the NATIONAL COMMITTEEWOMAN OF THE MICHIGAN REPUBLICAN PARTY.
Let met this get this straight. "Doctor" Kim Shmina is endorsed by the most powerful sitting Republican in the State and her campaign is paid for by the Republican National Committee's newest officer from the State of Michigan?

ESTABLISHMENT

Is "Doctor" Shmina a friend of We The People? Or is putting her in a position where her company can get special favors payback for making sure the Attorney General's friend and Mitt Romney's niece Ronna ROMNEY McDaniel becomes Party Chair?

Grassroots leader? or

ESTABLISHMENT
Donald Trump and Immigration

I've seen a lot of Establishment and NeverTrump liberals claim that Donald Trump has swung to the Left of JEB! and taken a moderate stance on illegal immigrants.  I'm not afraid or shocked that Trump, in his great intelligence, is pivoting with equally great intelligence.  Remember that Trump is our best shot at defeating the combined Establishment forces that inhabit and infest both parties. Under President Trump we will finally clean out the government of the cronyists. We just need to keep the faith and stand with Bold Colors!
Donald Trump Flash Mobs!

I never cease to be amazed at the tireless hard work of Matt Maddock and his lovely wife Meshawn!  Their recent idea is outright genius and while I'm glad so many of us are onboard we should push it as far as we can!

Breitbart.com has even covered this tremendous idea and how with it we're putting Michigan into play!

Leonard Favored In House Speaker Battle, But VerHeulen Remains Competitive

By Brandon Hall
(Email him at WestMiPolitics@Gmail.com)
The battle between State Rep. Tom Leonard and State Rep. Rob VerHeulen to decide who replaces Speaker Kevin Cotter in 2017 has been simmering for over a year, but the race is heating up as November approaches.

Lansing insiders say Leonard is the favorite, but don't count VerHeulen out...

Jarret Skroup of Michigan Capitol Confidential recently wrote a great piece on the race.

"On the GOP side, two current representatives are vying for the speakership — Rep. Tom Leonard of DeWitt Township and Rep. Rob VerHeulen from Walker. Both contenders raised money and provided additional support for a number of candidates in just-concluded primary races. So the outcomes of those races will have a lot to do with which one of these lawmakers gets the nod, assuming Republicans keep their majority.

In the course of the current Legislature and the 2013-14 one, VerHeulen and Leonard have been on opposite sides of other votes.

In the closing days of 2014, the Legislature passed a road-funding package that would have hiked taxes by $2 billion, some of which would have gone to transportation. In May 2015, voters killed the proposal with 80 percent voting against it. VerHeulen and Greimel supported the plan while Leonard voted “no.”

They candidates for speaker also disagreed on taxing internet sales (VerHeulen “yes” with Leonard and Greimel “no”), authorizing funding for Common Core academic standards (VerHeulen and Greimel “yes” with Leonard “no”), repealing a ban on allowing people to freely sell sport tickets (VerHeulen “no” with Greimel and Leonard “yes”), mandating license plate replacements every decade (VerHeulen “yes” with Greimel and Leonard “no”), accepting the Obamacare Medicaid expansion (VerHeulen and Leonard "no" with Greimel "yes"), and a few votes on select corporate tax breaks or subsidies (VerHeulen and Greimel “yes” with Leonard “no”).

Developing: Trump May Return To Michigan For Blockbuster Detroit Tour With Dr. Ben Carson

By Brandon Hall
(Email him at WestMiPolitics@Gmail.com)
"The Donald" may be coming to "The D," and this time, he's hitting the streets.

Yep: Donald Trump is reportedly planning a blockbuster tour of Detroit.

The GOP Presidential nominee would be joined by Dr. Ben Carson, a Detroit native...

According to the Washington Post:

"Trump is planning trips to urban areas — with stops at churches, charter schools and small businesses in black and Latino communities — and is developing an empowerment agenda based on the economy and education, aides said. Under consideration is an early September visit to Detroit, where retired neurosurgeon and former Republican primary rival Ben Carson would guide him on a tour of the impoverished neighborhoods where he grew up."

 Stay tuned!

Huma Makes Covert Campaign Stop For Hillary In Dearborn As Role In Radical Muslim Journal Causes Controversy

Huma Abedin speaks in Dearborn

By Brandon Hall
(Email him at WestMiPolitics@Gmail.com)
As revelations broke in recent weeks regarding her role in a radical Muslim journal laced with anti-gay and anti-female comments, Huma Abedin quietly slipped in to Michigan for a visit to Dearborn...

Dearborn has the largest population of Muslims in America.

The radical Muslim journal also employed her Mother, and was funded by the Saudis...

According to the Arab American News:

"Huma Abedin, vice chair for the Hillary for America campaign, met with Arab and Muslim American leaders on Aug. 11, to discuss issues that matter to the community.

Community representatives included heads of organizations, small business owners, doctors, lawyers and other professions. U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Dearborn) and the retired dean of Congress, John
Dingell, were also present at the discussion at Habib's Cuisine.

Abedin was joined by Farooq Mitha, national director of Muslim Outreach for Hillary for America.

Abedin praised the Muslim and Arab American communities for their political engagement. She highlighted the contrasts between Clinton and Trump.

She said the Republican nominee uses divisive and inflammatory rhetoric against Muslims to divide our country, while Clinton embraces the values and contributions immigrants make to our country.

Abedin praised the patriotism and heroism of Muslims across the country, including the Khan family, a Muslim Gold Star family whose son, Captain Humayun Khan, was killed in Iraq while protecting his fellow service members.

Abedin also discussed ways to strengthen communities, including making college more affordable, ensuring small businesses have the resources and support needed to succeed and building an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.

Abedin answered individual questions from the audience."

Abedin's publication is full of controversial statements.

According to the New York Post:
"Headlined “Women’s Rights Are Islamic Rights,” a 1996 article argues that single moms, working moms and gay couples with children should not be recognized as families...

In a separate January 1996 article, Abedin’s mother — who was the Muslim World League’s delegate to the UN conference — wrote that Clinton and other speakers were advancing a “very aggressive and radically feminist” agenda that was un-Islamic and wrong because it focused on empowering women...

She seemed to rationalize domestic abuse as a result of “the stress and frustrations that men encounter in their daily lives.” While denouncing such violence, she didn’t think it did much good to punish men for it."

Snyder Furious As Genesee County Judge Issues Secret Court Order Limiting State Activity In Flint

By Brandon Hall
(Email him at WestMiPolitics@Gmail.com)
A Genesee County Circuit Court Judge has issued a secret court ruling barring the State of Michigan's DHHS employees from interacting with the Genesee County Health Department and a local Flint Hospital as the investigation into Flint's water crisis intensifies.

Gov. Snyder is appealing the ruling, saying “(w)hen it comes to alerting people to a potential public health threat, we cannot afford to wait.”

According to Chad Livengood of the Detroit News:

"Gov. Rick Snyder’s administration is challenging a circuit court judge’s order prohibiting state health workers from interacting with the Genesee County Health Department and a Flint hospital amid new cases of the deadly Legionnaires’ disease

Snyder on Tuesday directed the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to legally challenge a Genesee County judge’s order purportedly barring any interaction between the state and local officials related to Flint’s water crisis.

Snyder spokesman Ari Adler said a Genesee County judge issued what he described as a “confidential order” on Aug. 17 that is “prohibiting the department from fully exercising their responsibilities.”

Adler said the judge’s order remains sealed from the public but has constrained the state health department’s ability to respond to a new spate of cases of Legionnaires’ disease in the Flint area, which had a spike of 91 cases in 2014 and 2015 that resulted in 12 deaths.

Snyder has directed Department of Health and Human Services to work with the Attorney General’s Office, which represents the department, and challenge the judge’s order in the Michigan Court of Appeals.

“This needs to be sorted out in the courts, but I’m concerned about the time that can take,” Snyder said Tuesday in a statement. “When it comes to alerting people to a potential public health threat, we cannot afford to wait.”

 Stay tuned!
