Sources tell WMP that Ottawa County GOP Executive Director Anne Chanski has resigned.
Chanski, a long time Meekhof loyalist, replaced popular Executive Director Faith Steketee in December of 2014. She seemed to do a good job in the position the last 14 months.
Steketee was fired after years of loyal service, sparking outrage right after an immensely controversial convention where some believe a delegate purge occurred and Faith was scapegoated.
In a Facebook statement, Chanski blamed Donald Trump.
"I recently left my job as a professional republican for 2 reasons. And one of them was Trump. I'm sorry I waited- I hope it's not too late."
Rumors are building that she left over poor fundraising issues-the party evidently doesn't have enough to pay her. Other issues may be involved also, stay tuned...
