With Rep. Candice Miller announcing last week she won't seek another term, two questions are now immensely important: Will Miller run against Attorney General Bill Schuette for Governor in 2018? Miller says she has another campaign in her-what does that mean?
The other obvious question is, who will replace her in Congress?
Here are 15 names that have been mentioned in the press or behind the scenes:
Phil Pavlov is a former State Rep. and current State Senator.
Pete Lund is a former State Rep who recently considered a run for MIGOP Chair.
Andrea LaFontaine is a State Rep. in her third term. Known as a moderate, she is under 30 and gaining a lot of buzz.
Leon Drolet is a former legislator known for his libertarian side, and among other things, he helped lead the effort against race based preferences at Michigan universities in 2006.
Todd Courser is a first term State Rep.
Mark Hackel is a Democrat (more likely to run for Governor) and the County Executive for Macomb.
Kim Meltzer is the Clinton Township Clerk.
Kim Shmina is a nurse and Wayne St. instructor. She recently ran for MIGOP Party Chair.
Anthony Forini is a State Rep.
Fred Miller is a Democrat and member of the Macomb County Commission.
Stan Grot is the Shelby Township Clerk.
Jack Brandenburg is a State Senator.
Pete Lucido is a first term State Rep. and attorney. He spent nearly $200,000 of his own money in his 2014 campaign.
Judge Matt Switalski is a judge on the Macomb County Circuit Court.
Judge Kathryn Viviano is the Chief Judge of the Family Division of the Macomb County Circuit Court.
Who would you add to the list?

WAIT WAIT ! STUNT ALERT !! Hawke Fracassa, the perennial candidate, could cement his crackpot status in Detroit by renting a pad in Sterling Heights and running for the Michigan 10th congressional district seat being vacated by Rep. Miller. Certain to lose his sixth campaign for public office in the last decade - whether it's for Mayor of Warren or Congress - Fracassa the self-described "attention whore" is sure to go after the greater level of publicity and run for Congress. What better way to top his unforgettable (unforgivable?) 2014 "long distance candidate" political prank? - Bruce McCormack
